A 12-Song Music Mix I’ve Been Using For Mental / Physical / Emotional Time-Outs

If I Learned Anything From My Upbringing, It’s That Time-Outs Are Essential To Life At Times.

When The Things You’re Doing, Working-On, Etc Etc, Are Getting Tooo Personally Pressing, Or Possibly Worse, It’s Time For A Time-Out.

For ME…

…Time-Outs Were Originally Used As A Punishment.

Being ADHD Out-The-Ass…

…I Found Them Excruciating.

Sit Down.

Be Quiet.

No Doing Nothing.

No TV.

No Music.

No Video Games.

No Books.

No Nothing.

Just Sit There.

They Never Lasted Longer Than 15-Minutes, But Those Were The Worst 15-Minutes In History Each And Every Time They Were Experienced.

Now, However, They Are An Essential Tool In Learning Something…

…Anything.

At Least, Anything Deemed Important Enough To Truly Truly Remember Remember.

Period.

Now My Time-Outs Include Music.

With That One Little Tweak, I Totally Revolutionized The Whole Concept Of Personal Time-Outs For ME/MYSELF.

So, Here’s My Current Time-Out Music Mix.

So What Do You Think, My Peeps?!

Would That Mix Relax You And Put A Smile On Your Face?

It Mainly Works For Me, Which Is Generally Good Enough.

Music DOES Save Lives.

Period.

Always Has.

Always Will.

At Least, I Would HOPE So.

Wouldn’t You?!

SURE YOU WOULD!!

“To The Soul’s Desires, The Body Listens. What The Flesh Requires, Keeps The Heart Imprisoned. What The Spirit Seeks, The Mind Will Follow. When The Body Speaks, All Else Is Hollow. …” — DEPECHE MODE (“When The Body Speaks”)

WHEN THE BODY SPEAKS” Is My FAVE Of FAVES From DEPECHE MODE‘s 2001 Album “EXCITER

… … …

While MANY Folks I Know Truly DID Hate The “EXCITER” Album, I Sure As Hell DIDN’T. It’s Honestly One Of MY FAVE FAVES. Some AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL SONGS Came From “EXCITER” With Special Emphasis On “WHEN THE BODY SPEAKS” Which, To Me, Is One Of The Bands MOST MOST BEAUTIFUL TUNES EVER. Period.

… … …

I Actually Own The Double-Disc-DVD “ONE NIGHT IN PARIS“: The “EXCITER” TOUR (2001) Concert . IT. IS. WILDLY. A.MA.ZING. Fo. SHO. FO. SHO!

… … …

You Should Trust Me, My Peeps. The ONLY REASON This Particular Album Got It’s Bunk-Rep Was Because IT WAS (as they say) AHEAD OF IT’S TIME. A Truly BEAUTIFUL Album. And YES, The Song “THE DEAD OF NIGHT” IS Necessary For The Album. It’s Great Adding A Touch Of “EXCITER“‘ing Balance. “DREAM ON” Is A TRUE Gem. “THE SWEETEST CONDITION” Is WONDERFUL. “COMATOSE” Is Quirky-Odd’ish-Fun’ish hehe

… … …

I FEEL LOVED” Is More What You’d Expect To Call More Classic’ish DEPECHE MODE. “GOOD NIGHT LOVERS” Is The PERFECT ENDING. HANDS DOWN. …And… FO SHO. Please, My Peeps. Don’t Hate It Until You FINALLY DECIDE To HONESTLY Give It Another Chance. Clean Slate. Try Again. DEPECHE MODE Dug Deeeep To Make Something Truly EMOTIONALLY CONNECTING. I’ve Owned It Since 2001. Couldn’t Imagine My Music-Library Without It. Period. πŸ˜€
