Caesar goes to war in the first trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes!

YES!!! I’m Sooooooooooooo STOKED!!! 😀

dawn-image-4

One of the things I’ve been excited to see was the kind of tone and look Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was going to have under the direction of Let Me In‘s Matt Reeves. And just as I hoped it looks very dark and apocalyptic as the film picks up 10 years after the events of Rise. The start of the trailer gives us a speech by Gary Oldman, which is a win in itself, but then we finally get a brilliant shot of Caesar as he prepares to go to war. I’m so glad to see that Matt Reeves got his filthy paws on this one because it looks like he has brought his uniquely dark vision to the franchise.

He That Can Have Patience Can Have What He Will.”

Benjamin Franklin (via mountaingenealogy.blogspot.com)

…And I’m Trying, My Peeps.

I Really REALLY Am Trying.

I Know, I Know…

…Patience, 007, Patience.

I’m Still Holding Onto This Damned Decent Mood Kick Thingy I’ve Been Riding.

Things Continue To Go My Way.

It’s Wild, To Say The Least.

I’m Sincerely Not Used To Feeling Like This, Especially For A Long’ish…
