  1. Like so many things, this is largely true. However, playing devil’s advocate as I so love to do, I think that most things, even deliberate things, can be forgiven over time if there is earnest repentance on the part of the offender.

    Likewise, you can only excuse someone’s character flaws (temper, impetuousness, gullibility) for so long. With these things, it might not technically be YOUR fault, after a while, it is by default, because you can correct these behaviors.

    • What If There IS Earnest Repentance, But The Other Person Is Someone Who Simply Can’t/Won’t Forgive?
      I Agree With What You Say. I Just Don’t Think Everyone Makes Themselves Capable Of Letting Go. And Even If One Does Forgive, Does One Ever Really Forget?
