I haven’t seen much anime. I’m not a huge fan of the animation style, although I do like how it has influenced some Western Animation (in the current Avengers cartoon, some of the female characters have the requisite ‘big eyes/small mouth’). In high school, a buddy of mine was really into the Japanese version of Robotech (he speaks fluent Japanese now, but at the time watched it uncomprehendingly).
