Well, He Did Get ONE Term In Office.
He Lasted Longer Than Ole Abe Lincoln.
But You’re Right, It Wasn’t For Very Long.
BUT BUT, Think Of A World WITHOUT Mr. Theodore Roosevelt. Had McKinley Not Been Gunned Down, Teddy Would Have NEVER Become President.
Funny How Things Work-Out Sometimes, Eh?!
Well, I think they were both assassinated during the first year of their second term in office. Some people are just sore losers. And, you’re right about Teddy R. Also, if Lincoln had not been assassinated, the whole course of Reconstruction, and therefore, the eventual Civil Rights movement, might have been very different (as in unnecessary.)
But not, as far as he was concerned, for very long.
