Yes, dear readers, you read that right! Sony is currently developing an ALF movie! Can you tell I am excited by this news?
After an Alien Life Form (ALF) crash lands on their property, the quintessential ’80’s family, The Tanners, takes him in to protect him. Hijinks then ensued with weekly regularity.
Sony is aiming to develop this as a CGI/live action hybrid. Series creator Paul Fusco is on board and is expected to return to provide the voice. Let’s just hope this doesn’t go into stupidity territory like The Smurfs, which couldn’t even be saved by the brilliant Neil Patrick Harris. Please, please, please keep Raja Gosnell (Scooby Doo, Beverly Hills Chihuahua) away from this at all costs!!
I used to watch ALF every week. I super-loved this show! I cannot wait for this. I will keep you updated as I learn more about this…
