  1. So true Brad… I’ve just sent my daughter the first 11 chapters of my first novel to read…. I’m thinking – “will she like it; will she lie that she likes it; can I really write; aghhhhhh and on and on….
So yes, I agree with Hemingway….

    • 11 Chapters?! You’re Ahead Of Me There. I’m Still Struggling Along With Chapter 3. BUT, At Least We’re Making A Go Of It, Ms. Carolyn. Some Folks Can’t Even Decide On Word #1. So I’d Say We’re Doin’ Alright. Just Don’t Be Scared Of Any Criticism, Though I Know That’s Impossible hehehe Cheers To The First 11 Chapters, And Many More To Come! πŸ™‚

      • Thanks Brad. My partner K has just read Chapter 1 (that was all I was willing to show him) and he said it was okay…. that for him is a great compliment… haha… The daughter said it needed a bit more ‘filling out’, which I’ve taken on board and am willing to start padding when the inspiration takes hold…. Thanks for the encouragement; and the same to you. You’ll have to let me know when it’s ready for reading… I’d be happy to help, where I can… πŸ™‚

    • I’m A Cautious Optimist hehehe
Hope For The Very Best, But Generally Expect The Very Worst.
That Way, I’m Either Very HAPPY, or I’m VERY CORRECT.
Either Way, It’s Fine With Me πŸ˜‰
