Curiosities Abound, But I’m Hopeful It’ll Be AWESOME!!!

I’m not 100% sure if I have made my feelings clear on this Superman reboot, titled Man of Steel.  I am not sold.  I’m not sure about the costume, and I’m certainly not sure about Henry Cavill (Immortals, Blood Creek).  While I feel that Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead, Sucker Punch) has it in him to make a good Superman film, I’m not sure if he has it in him to make a GREAT Superman film.

After watching the trailer for Man of Steel, I liked the fact that Snyder seems to be going along a more subdued route instead of his flashy speed up/slow down style.  The trailer, while not showing, well, anything, really, is a lot more subdued, and upon watching it again it reminds me of a Michael Bay (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Pearl Harbor) trailer.  This…
