Good Morning, My Peeps.
Wow…
…It Has Already Been A Very Long Day.
I Was Rudely Awakened By Myself Around 4A.M. And Haven’t Felt Like Doing Much Since Then.
My Body Aches.
My Head Aches.
When I Awoke…
…My First Thought Was…
"Who The Hell Ordered This Hangover?"
…Until I Realized…
"You Didn't Do Anything That Should Prompt A Hangover, Dude."
And That’s True…
…I Didn’t Do Anything.
So Why The Groggy Feeling?
Why The Morning Surprise Of Feeling As Though I Had Awakened Within A Fog?
I Simply Do Not Know.
It Is…
…However…
…The Second Time This Has Happened In The Past Three Days.
(*shrugs*)
(*sighs*)
I Simply Dunno, Ya Know Ya Know?!
ANYWAY…
…Onto Better Things.
The Morning Walk-About Was Handled Quickly Enough.
I Wanted To Get Out And Move…
…And Did My Best To Feed That Want.
I Didn’t Get Very Far From The House…
…But There Are Enough Side-Streets And Such…
…So I Was Able To Zigzag About.
The Walk Was Short…
…Sweet…
…And Loaded With Great Tunage.
I Decided To Switch-Up My Morning Method, Also.
I Let All The Music Be Decided By Random Chance EXCEPT For My Final Song.
That Song Was A Personal Pre-Selection.
The Walk Began At Random With…
“HOLY DIVER“
by DIO
🙂
It’s A Classic Jam I’ve Known (almost) My Whole Life…
…So It Was A Pleasant Surprise When “Mr. Shuffle” Decided Upon It.
That Guy Has Fun Taste…
…Sometimes.
😉
Anyway…
…That Carried Over To The Second Song…
“LIVE AND LET DIE“
by PAUL McCARTNEY And WINGS
🙂
…AND…
…To The Third Song…
“(JUST LIKE) STARTING OVER“
by JOHN LENNON
🙂
Now…
…By This Point In The Walk…
…I Feel Nadda But High Praise For “Mr. Shuffle”…
…As He’s Hittin’ Me Hard With Quality Jams.
Next Up Was…
“THE BAD TOUCH“
by BLOODHOUND GANG
🙂
…And Then…
“RAISE YOUR HANDS“
by BON JOVI
🙂
Awesome Jams, I Must Say.
Some Of My Fave Faves Were Popping-Up Today.
It’s Easy To Derive Motivational Sustenance From Something When It’s Making You Happy To Be Doing What You’re Doing.
I’m One Who’s Not Generally In The Best Of Moods…
…But This Morning’s Walk Was Different.
Fired Back At Me Next Was…
“UP AROUND THE BEND“
by CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL
🙂
…Which Is Always A Plus Plus Jam, Fo SHO!
As That One Was Ending…
…I Quickly Pushed The Next Button…
…And A Little…
DAVID BOWIE
…With…
“SLOW BURN“
…Was Laid Upon Me.
🙂
Now That, To Me, Is A Killer Great Jam.
I Know A Lot Of People Who Entirely Did Not Like That DAVID BOWIE Album…
…But You Can Rest Assured I Wasn’t One Of Those.
I Can GENERALLY Find A Couple Two Or Three Jams On Almost Any Album That I’d Call Worth A Listen.
ANYWAY…
…Moving On, Moving On…
…Up Next Was…
“LONGVIEW“
by GREEN DAY
🙂
…And Quickly Thereafter Was…
“L.O.V.“
by FITZ AND THE TANTRUMS
🙂
The Final Song Of The Morning…
…As The Headline Suggests…
…Was…
“JUDAS“
(LIVE)
by DEPECHE MODE
🙂
OMG….flash back. When I first started playing pro I used to do songs by Dio. We also covered Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath with RJ Dio….NIce Choise….Peace Jaz

Holy Diver is a guilty pleasure, as is The Bad Touch. I can’t think of the Discovery Channel the same way after hearing it.

Yeah, Holy Diver Is Pure Guilty Pleasure Material. I Used To Frequent A Bar That Had A Nifty Jukebox And It Just So Happened To Have Holy Diver On It.
You Could Always Tell When My Turn Finally Came On The Box, Because I’d Do Like 5 Songs, And I’d Lead-Off AND End With Holy Diver hahahaha Always Made My Friends Look At Me And Say, “Dude, YOU Did This, Didn’t You!?!” hehehe Good Times.
As For Bad Touch, I’m In Agreement. It Has Made Watching Wilderness Docs On DC Much More Fun, As I Can’t Get The Song Out Of My Head Sometimes hehehe More Good Times 😉

And for a dude with such obvious good taste in music, there is a glaring omission from all your playlists. Where is the Erasure? Where is the love for Vincent Clarke?

Erasure SHOULD Play A Role At Some Point 😉 hehehe

That’s a trap I’ll happily avoid stepping into, and restate that Erasure is awesome. I’ve seen them nine times, I think.
