Alright, My Peeps…
…Y’all Already Know I’m A Huge Fan Of The Band…
DEPECHE MODE
…And I Make No Attempts To Hide That Fact.
I Know Their Style And Sound Aren’t Everyone’s Cup-Of-Tea…
…But That Hardly Matters.
Everyone Has Something They Love And Enjoy That Other Folks Simply Think Is Odd/Strange/Weird/Whatever.
When This Album…
“PLAYING THE ANGEL“
…Was Released In 2005…
…You’d Best Believe I Was One Of The 1ST To Plunk-Down My Cold-Hard-Cash.
I’ve Listened To This Album…
…Sheesh…
…I Dunno…
…847,000 Times?!?
Maybe?!?
😉
And It Has Yet To Get Old.
I Love The Album, Fo SHO!
And This Song…
“A PAIN THAT I’M USED TO“
Love, love, love Depeche Mode. When Personal Jesus comes on the radio I have to stop my car on the side of the road, crank it up and dance. It takes me back to my youth. To the smoky bar that I used to dance in every Friday and Saturday night. With my crew cut hair and my combat boots. To my bf that looked like Roger Smith. The man wore more eyeliner than I did. Oh sweet, sweet nostalgia.

I Love Love LOVE’em, Also.
They’ve been my fave of faves forever and a day, and I wouldn’t change that for anything. It’s been a long-term love-affair, and I’m happy for it to continue onward forever! hahaha
