Anytime a horror series has a sequel boasting the title, “The Final Chapter“, don’t believe it. It will likely never be the final chapter. But that’s not always a bad thing. This fourth Friday film ended the golden age of Jason films, as the ones that followed it became either a little more cheesy than usual, or flat-out stupid. Sometimes both. That said, this sequel isn’t my favorite, but it is still pretty good. We witness some pivotal moments in this film, such as the “death” of Jason, the introduction of Tommy Jarvis, and the last of the 2-3-4 sequence of films which all took place within days of each other. So let’s get going.
We begin by seeing the body of Jason being transported to the morgue from the events in Part 3. An annoying nurse and a horny orderly are the first to kick the bucket, and Jason leaves the hospital…
